"Yes, and I can add more color to this: The % of a member’s revenue allocated to writer earnings isn’t a fixed % — it depends on what members/Friends of Medium do, how much they read and engage, etc. Because our model works differently, this answer is a little more complex for Medium than for other platforms. Also worth noting that the overall earnings pie for writers will grow as more Friends of Medium join. That way, when new Friends join, it won’t reduce the writer earnings generated by regular members."
