Seriously, it sounds strange; but according to a scientific study, going through a carefully crafted list of thirty-six questions with a stranger can lead to love. (Check out this NYT article for the original list).

You might find this concept upsetting and unnerving; why would someone try to speed up things or artificially create a feeling of love? Why not take the time you need?

You might also just be relaxed about it and enjoy answering the questions with your partner, close friends, or by yourself; some of them are worth your time!

I’m in-between. Here’s my attempt at designing the questionnaire. Most likely, the following questions won’t lead you to love, but hopefully, they’ll bring a smile to your face and thoughts to your brain!

  1. Given the choice of anyone in the world, for whom would you want to take out the garbage?
  2. Would you like your mother to be famous? For what?
  3. During a conference call, do you ever listen to what other people are saying? Why?
  4. Think big! What would constitute a “perfect” day for the planet?
