Regarding these extreme situations, I did a collab with @Monika.Hall recently and found I could go further than I expected.
There's much more creative space to explore than one would think; I try to keep that in mind when writing! For me, it's easier with collabs, because the other writer often shows me a path I hadn't thought of. :D
