I find it interesting that some people post publicly their opinions and aren’t happy when people publicly reply (and disagree) in the comment section. It’s possible to close the comment section on Medium, but if you don’t, you can’t expect to have only comments agreeing with your opinion.

I think the “buddy, hey friend, yes” are often used because it’s easier (and seen more positively) to agree with another writer’s story. Particularly if you’re fishing for reciprocal engagement.

I’m glad that there are also people who enjoy debating on Medium. Some of them are only commenting and I wish I could follow them to read their comments. Some people have very interesting comments.
