A new writer writes, then writes about writing, then writes again, then ...

Each time with a different perspective.

As a reader, I would assume writers might follow the same pattern, and the algo responds to it accordingly.

Assuming a lot of new writers came (do you have any source for stats on Medium?) they'll soon be writing many articles about writing. :D
