I think comments are too short to earn money from reading time.

…sn’t have to be long. In fact, some of my most noticed comments are about ten to twenty words long. They get noticed, they get return comments, and it all goes into the tip jar, or money belt, or however we get paid, so to speak. Some result in followers.
Making sense of Medium; or whatever.
