I overall agree with you, but the "technique" can be worth your time on Medium.

- There are enough writers on this platform so that Read4read can be done with not so bad, not so boring, and not so tedious writers.

- Also, the technique was lucrative last August, and still is (albeit much less) because of the engagement points in Medium's earnings algorithm.
