For me the increasing payment is logical. You get paid based on reading time of each readers. Calculations are made reader by reader. (unlike spotify model for example)

So if someone reads only your article during the month, you get the full redistributed part of their membership.

An article that becomes "viral" gets read by people who don't read much and therefore you get more $ from their reading time.

Maybe I missed something. What do you think?
